Church description

New Life Baptist Church was founded to be an independent, fundamental work for Jesus Christ, in the year 1991.
The church went through several transitional periods of leadership until October 1999, when brother Michael Mabe was ordained and voted in to be the Pastor and under watch care of the church, waiting for the year 2000.

Within a few months, the congregation of less than 10 members began to grow at a fairly consistent rate.
After the next few years the church, with an established Sunday School program, along with adding deacons to serve, the church finally settled at around 40 congregants.

Since then, the members have been growing closer to Christ and to one another through God’s Word, Discipleship Training, Men & Women’s Fellowship Groups, Seniors Group, and our youth minsitries.

With consistent and periodic revivals, seeing steady growth to a congregation of nearly 100 members, New Life Baptist Church came to a point of growth with the need to expand beyond its current landlocked facility.
With God’s Hand upon us we were poised to take the next step to build a home that will serve Him more fruitfully.

In February of 2016, God orchestrated a tremendous opportunity for New Life Baptist Church and its congregants, to obtain a facility formerly known as Allen Jay Baptist Church, located in High Point, NC.
After the members decided to move forward with the hand of God opening a door, He allowed us to sell the property located in Thomasville and sell the acquired five-acre property for our planned building in Archdale, we moved into our new facility and location in March 2016.
God saw fit to give us a facility nearly 7 times the size of our former location!
And He has been sending the souls ever since to fill it up, as well!
We are still saying, “Wow!” to what God has recently given NLBC for patiently and obediently waiting on Him!
I can hardly wait to see what He has in store for us next!
