Church description

The Jefferson United Methodist Church is a vibrant Church located in a progressive area of Baton Rouge, LA. The Church has a rich history of being one of the most active United Methodist Churches in the Louisiana Conference and is experiencing a renewed spirit and desire to expand it's ministry to young families, which comprises almost half of it's membership. Jefferson has three worship services on Sunday mornings which include two blended services and a contemporary praise service. A new Sr. Pastor and Associate Pastor were welcomed in July of 2012. The church has many varied activities for all ages and has a strong core of lay leaders.
