Henning Memorial United Methodist Church in Sulphur, LA is looking to hire a full-time or part-time Director of Youth Ministries. This person will be responsible for coordinating all 6th- 12th grade ministries. Henning Memorial United Methodist Church is a thriving and growing church with an average worship attendance of 250. The youth group is extremely active in weekly small groups and spiritual development opportunities. The average youth attendance can range from 20-40. The church is centrally located a block from the only high school in the town, leading to wonderful mission and outreach opportunities.
Henning Memorial United Methodist Church is looking for a highly self-motivated, creative, organized, energetic, and spiritually mature Christian. A bachelor’s degree with experience in youth ministry is preferred. Compensation is based on experience. The position is open until filled.
