Church description

We are an urban/suburban multi-ethnic hybrid missional church in the heart of Silicon Valley of 300 adults, 80 kids, and 20 youth. We are 15 years old. We started with single professionals in '90's, now we are multi-age with few folks over 45. Many of our members had their formative faith experiences in college and in missional teams. We are just now building the youth ministry with a growing number of kids entering middle school. Our core values are Mission (extending the reign of Jesus in justice, reconciliation, and mercy), Healing (of our own brokenness), and Union (devotion to Jesus and to one another in community).

Our mission for kids and youth is: Provide the best environment possible for children and youth to grow deep and genuine roots of faith, so that they will experience the love of Jesus and commit to him, and his work in the world, for their entire lives. Equip parents to be the primary agents of spiritual formation in their children’s lives.

We subscribe to the 'gospel of sustainable youth ministry' and are building the dance floor with the help of Youth Ministry Architects. We have an awesome volunteer team working with the middle schoolers. Parents are gifted ministers as well, grappling with how best to equip their kids to live faithfully in their own generation.
