Church description

West is a community of faith (aka - church) that is just over 3 years old. We started as a campus of a dynamic UMC and grew quickly to the point that it made more sense fiscally and missionally to be a legit UMC.

We have between 300 - 400 people that worship weekly. There are over 100 people between grades 6 - 12 that call West their "church home" and it is our main goal to seek and be a "No Huddles" kind of "church." Meaning - outside the walls, not huddling inside each week!

Too many people are turned off to the rigidity and formality of religion. Thus we seek to be about radically following Jesus and having the main "rule" being "there are no hard, fast rules" to what it looks like to function as a body of Christ.

This is a grassroots movement propelled forward by the people who serve within the faith community! It is the over 150 people who serve that make West what it is. It's an exciting place to be in ministry as we move forward to see how it is God wants to use us in the community!
