I feel that I am skilled in helping people realize their calling and empowering them to take steps to answer that call. I find that I am skilled interpersonally and often help resolve conflict in my current setting. I am skilled with financial information although it is not my forte. I am skilled at listening and I find that God gives me the right questions to ask to help people open up and share their heart. I am skilled at assessing a problem or goal and then taking the necessary steps to recruit people to help solve that problem or accomplish that goal. I am also skilled in the visual arts and in the intersections of art and theological formation. My favorite medium is ceramics but I also like to repurpose and resurrect discarded materials. I am also skilled in public speaking and communication. I have a degree in graphic design and an affinity for art, both of which lend themselves to visual communication. Also, I love sharing the gospel. Finally, I am skilled in facilitating and leading contemplative practice and spiritual guidance.

Extra Curricular Activities/ Interests and Hobbies

In my free time, I enjoy reading books both for spiritual growth and for entertainment. I love creating art, speaking, teaching, and serving God. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and being mischievous with both. In recent years, I have realized the importance of Sabbath in my extra curricular time. It has become an essential part of my ministry and has helped to shape who I am today. I love the outdoors, camping, canoeing, whitewater rafting, snow skiing, four-wheeling, the beach and ocean, and enjoying all of God’s creation. I love movies, music, food, culture, and media even if at times I find myself disgusted with all five. I love to run, work out, lift weights, and take care of the temple that God has given me.
