Eric Vance's résuméLast updated
. I am focusing on gaining experience using my knowledge gained from my studies in ministry with a special focus on today’s youth.
I have had the opportunity to minister in outreach programs that ministered to abused children, and lower economic communities. I have actively participated in for several years actively teachings Sunday school in various grades and a camp counselor for vacation bible school. My leadership lesson that God has taught me is that when you are serving you can’t just serve inside the four walls of your church you must go outside the four-walls of your church to be a leader. Another lesson is never assuming you know all the answers because each situation is different.
My first year of college was at Pensacola Christian college and then I transferred over to Southeastern University and did their online program and graduated in May of this year.
I think my leadership skills are: that I truly like working with young people, that I am organized, and I try to be creative in my teaching. As result I am not afraid to step outside the box. As far as areas of growth I need to continue working on being patience and not expecting things to be done overnight and that I need to gain a greater empathy of others opinions and acceptance.
As a recent graduate from Southeastern University with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Ministerial
Leadership , I believe I am an excellent fit for the position of Pastor or associate pastor as a wonderful
opportunity. I look forward to the chance to show you how my educational background and other experience
have prepared me to make an immediate contribution to any church or organization.
